Hello,
This is my interpretation of the RAFALE M, Revell Kit 1/48.
Indeed, I know, this version of the plane isn't quite compatible with the decoration I've used....
I used one of the very first versions of the Revell kit, which corresponds to the configuration of pre-production aircraft, while this "Tiger meet" special scheme corresponds to a "F2" standard version.
I've tried to modify the kit as much as I' could, but I' didn't manage to find the Wolfpack upgrade set and therefore the rear flare launcher (just in front of the engine nozzle) are missing.
Eventually, here are the upgrade set I'used:
- Cockpit + seat --> Wolfpack
- Slats and FTF --> Wolfpack
- Exocet Missile --> Reskit
- MICA Missiles --> Reskit
- Wheels --> Reskit (superb...)
- Decals --> Syhart "Tiger Meet 2014"
- Seamless Air intake --> BAM mode
Regarding the Revell kit, there is no real issue on building and fittings. One advice could be to attach the "canard" surfaces at the very end of the assembly, otherwise they will annoy you all along.
