Made a start on this kit with the cockpit which is quite basic to say the least, part of the reason I put the pilot and navigator in. 🙂
Welcome Nicolas, pull up a seat. 👍

Added cockpit to the upper fuselage. Lower parts of the tail added to the lower fuselage. Wings and folding mechanism added to lower fuselage. Weight added to the lower part of the nose. I wasn't certain how much to add as there is no indication in the instructions. 🙂

Just the jet engine intakes added this week as have been away. On the right hand side I had to cut and sand as there was a big extra part of moulding plastic in the way. 🙂

I call this completed. The plane denoted is a Tornado from 111 (F) Sqn, RAF Leuchars in 2010.
111 (Fighter) Sqn converted to the Tornado F3 from the Phantom FGR.2 in 1990 at RAF Leuchars in Scotland. Its main role there was as a part of the UK's Quick Reaction Alert to identify and if necessary, destroy hostile aircraft entering UK air space. The Sqn also carried out air operations over Bosnia in 1994/95 and took an active part on Operation Telic commanded by Wing Commander Rob Birch in 2003. 111 Sqn was the last RAF Sqn to operate the Tornado F3 and was disbanded in 2011.

Made a start with the cockpit and some weight in the nose, hopefully it's enough. 🙂

Thank you for the interest mates!
@Cuajete: in a way it's similar, but not two EAF machines of the same type had the same "Nile" camouflage pattern. This was left to the freedom of artistic expresion of the maintainance workers. The rule was to use those three main colors: sand (sometimes orange sand), the weird green and a very dark green-tan (close to a complete black). The darkest color is certainly not the proposed brown of that decal sheet.
Otherwise, some of the EAF MiGs were overhauled in Warsaw Pact countries and were locally painted with only similar paints. The MiG-17 from the first picture of this album is such an example, where they applied directly black for the darkest color.
Sometimes order of colors was switched, while sometimes the applied pattern was completely irregular:

This one below is some restored/repainted piece of museum in the US, where the darkest color is wrongly applied as brown:

Thank you mates! I am also absolutely satisfied with the result.
@Alexander From time to time I have done some 1:24 cars, typically from ICM.
The Benz Motorwagen is the best I think, also received an award. The newest was the Ford A released this year.
You can find them on my Projects filtered fro 1:24: bughunter

Very fine street segment. Thanks for the link to the german manhole covers. They caught my attention too. Now it needs a more modern german car. I doubt that the Benz vehicle will do. And a figure of course. 🙂
