Tiger II Serienturm (Flyhawk, 1/72)
Some parts dry-fitted to showcase the final look
With all those subassemblies I might even make an aircraft modeller proud!
I managed to apply the primer, a bit of hull red and the Dunkelgelb basecoat this weekend. The added texture on the heavier plates reamined nicely visible. As I plan to do a lot of weathering on the lower hull, the "sloppy" painting shouldn´t be an issue, I hope 🙂
3-tone camo is done! I had a bit of splatter issues but it is acceptbale. In the future I may figure out even better paint-mixes and dilution-ratios so it can be more refined
Decals and a pinwash are on. Tomorrow I´ll move on to some chipping
With chipping and some rust-effects done I can go on to dust and mud!

Nice camo 👍
These "splatters" could also be considered as part of the weathering if you ask me;)
Anyway, your progress looks good so far!

Well that is wonderful Tom. Such a detailed kit for the scale and you've painted and weathered it beautifully.

It's a cliche I know, but this really could pass for 1!/35 Tom. Wonderful job.

Building Flyhawk´s great 1/72 Tiger II with Fat Frog Models 3D printed tracks. Also this should finally make me a "Real Armor Modeller" 😉
