The Verlinden set is worth the price, just get it as cheap as you can. I am seriously let down by the Legend set (now marketed by another company at twice the price).

There is an M5 at the USMC Museum at Quantico Va with a breathing attachment and jungle colors. Not sure if it is an A1. If this appeals to you maybe you can some pics and check it out.

Legend part was too narrow by about 1.5 centimeters. Had to cut it apart just make it fit, then fill in with plastic

Some minor painting done. Need to add decals and weathering before I can complete the painting.

Trying out some resin correction sets. The Legend is the worse of the lot. Whoever made the masters did not allow shrinkage of the molds, they are not millimeters too small but centimeters too small. A lot of fixing, cutting and filling. The Verlinden set is really nice.
