Fokker DVII
Cockpit parts
the missing seat mount were scratch made from wire
reworked front according to original pictures
almost ready to close the fuselage
against my initial intention I decided to add the engine louvres visible in the photo.
Adding the nose looks more tricky than it is. After some dryfitting it went together without problems and with a perfect fit
before adding the engine
dryfitting the engine and the radiator
side markings digitised from photo
The Fokker legend on the front was cut out from Tamyia tape and sprayed on

Hi Martien - thanks! I have added some more pictures from the cockpit.
Unexpectedly I have to do some minor modifications to the front and the cockpit enclosing to match the real aircraft which slows me down.

Thank you all.
The nice autumn weather and a lot of work in the office kept me away from my Fokker.

Tomorrow I will try to have the markings printed on a decal sheet.

I thank you all. I have posted now the final pictures with propeller and have declared the project as finished.
I have some spare decals for Belgian, Polish, Lithuanian, Swedish and Finish Fokkers, all in 1:48 - anyone interested in something unusal can contact me.

Album info
This will be a Swiss Fokker DVII. I have two pictures of this aircraft (most probably the photos show the same aircraft) with one legend stating this to be number 608. At that time (1922) no number was painted on.
