Absolutely. A classic!
Saw the aircraft with the PHAREWELL scheme in, I think, 2013 at the Luchtmachtdagen at Volkel Air Base.
I will not forget the sound of those engines in a hurry. 🙂

Yes, as I said, the sound is just so primordial.
I work about 2km from Volkel Air base so I daily see a lot of military planes. However, mostly it's F-16's and if you seen one, you've seen them all. Except of course, when Dutch Air Force Demo Team are practicing. The plane is literally flying over my office at low level. You can actually see the pilot. Then, naturally, it's a completely different kettle of fish. 🙂

I know THAT problem even though I usually stop at the ideas stage. And then something else comes along that tickles my fancy so I drop the one I'd originally planned to build. 😉

Nice build Ekki, even more after I know that this is the OLD Hasegawa F-4! I must admit that I love the IAF camo. Thats probably why I bought a RF-4E IDF 🙂

Thats true but I still love the new Hasegawa form more, maybe because it hasnt the raised panel lines anymore etc.
Ok and it also has a lot more parts (the new form).

Yeah the amount of parts is stunning... It has even more parts like a Hasegawa P-3C 😛

I will build it again in a few years time. After all, this was one of the first ones I did after returning to the hobby after a hiatus of more than twenty years. And boy, has the world changed with all the things available now that weren't when I last built some planes.
The kit wasn't actually THAT bad, by the way.

Of course its still a good kit, but if you have the chance to get a new tool kit I would take that 🙂
