Christian Bruer is doing a 1/144 Uhu, and his is looking fantastic, and the smaller scale kits are now getting me intrigued and it wont be long before I am doing some.🙂
Great detail in the smaller kits now. :-O

Fine, the group grew up more and more. Good to see some more small scales! Sounds like a lot of work, rescribing, add rivets etc.! I'll take a seat to follow.
Well Bart, I guess you'll gave us a broad hint about another scale 144 owl😉
Cheers, Christian

Well...one needs a lot of meditation and mental strenght to prepare himself for scribing...
Now on the serious side - waited to get some professional scribing tools, bought a set from Hauler, a really great product, as you can see from the pictures. Just need more practice to get the lines really straight. Also using the Hasegawa Try Tool Template set, I personally think, that is the best one out there. The fuselage and the top half of the wings are next. Then to some riveting and building the "office". Also planing tho make a vacuform canopy, as the conture is totally wrong, especially the front section.

Again I say, I am always intrigued by the amount of effort and detail you 1/72 scale jockeys are able to achieve, and my hat is off to your determination to bring them to life.
This will be a great build Komoras.
Worth the wait. 🙂 👍

Thank very much you for those inspiring words Kerry 👍
Maybe it won't be a competitor winner, but I'll give my best to add details and do a clean and precise build 😄
Also, a plan is to get my hand on some Iwata Airbrush to do the complex UHU camo, since those are not dots, but lines spreaded randomly all over the aircraft. If I won't be able to achive this with the airbrush, the plan is to spray the patern through templates cut in paper.

The air brush I use Komoras is the Iwata "Eclipse" and it is super efficient and easy in the hand double action. I love it and have had it for five years now.🙂
Mind you, when you clean it, always remove the rubber "O" rings on the front and body, otherwise they go hard and brittle. 🙂

Album info
I couldn't resist but to join the "Uhu" groupbuild! I got the quickest and cheapest He 219 building material: the Revell in 1/72 scale
Bought it for 10 € at the local hobby store. The plan is to rescribe all panel lines and add some rivets. Also scratchbuild the cockpit.
