Thanks for the kind comment, they're all acrylic Lifecolor paints corresponding to German RLM standard.
I would think so, if I understand it correctly, it's a slight modification of Airfixes Me109E-4, which was one of the first 'new' moulds Airfix released. I hear what you're saying and all due respect to 'nostalgy' builds, but the superior fit and detail of those new kits makes them a true joy to build. 🙂
