Esci B-26 Maurader
the kit
instruction & decal sheets
parts all washed up
i usually start by gluing up the wings
test fit looks good
why is one engine different from the other....????
interior green stuff painted up
da bombs
little detailing on the engines
such as they are
the cockpit
....
ready to assemble the fuselage
mask between the raised panel lines
carefully sand the seams between the raised panel lines
turned out pretty well, just takes time
had to put shims behind the engines, they set too far back ane the prop was right up against the cowling
all the seams finished
engines & cowls attached
test fit the tail, & something to protect the gun
props painted
...
mask the engines.....
...and the cockpit etc. Handy stuff that blue putty!
mask where the tail attaches for a good solid glue joint
Ah....Primer!
did some pre shading w/a marker, just for a test
props decaled & gloss coated
the guns & glass painted
color coat, just plain old silver!
color on the wing
wings ready for stripes
stripes on!
tail ready for decals
used a marker to highlight the heavy lines
.....
.....
..and the decals
.....
......
i cut the decals at the gun instead of trying to fold them over it
bit of a gap there...
...but not bad once glued up
ready to put the wings on
......
one wing on!

Thanks Hagel,
It was a pretty good kit. A little light on detail & raised lines...but it went together pretty easy. I had fun with this one. My grandson thinks it's pretty cool with the teeth,,,calls it a shark! One of my better efforts so far. Regards.
