Evolution of skills.
Fokker E.III
Perhaps not the best choice for a next project. Small pieces and a lot of wires to add.
Came out decent though. Somewhere the wheels got lost in the last 2 years...
I was proud of the wiring, before the support behind the guns came loose.
This was one of the first kit bought. The Hurricane and Spit are not good enough to be shown here....
The Stuka. Fit was quite nice, except for the canopy. Lacked the necessary skills for repairs, so just glued it on.
I think the paint job was decent
The recognisable gull wing
Bombs away!
I put a lot more effort in the He-111
Filling gaps, sanding (I hate sanding), re-scribing lines
I tried some weathering as practise for my F-89
Could this be some dirt, left by the feet of the crew?
The under side is dirty
I feel like I overdid it in some spots
I just had to have this, I built this as my very first kit, way back
During the build the memories came back, just as the nightmares
The 3rd engine in the tail looks like ****. The white in the decals doesn't like the aluminum underside, and the windscreen for the cockpit is just... at best the decal
I do like the stand though. Gives it a bit of swoosh
Next up, one of my all-time favorite birds!
Fits like a glove!
Hardly any troubles in the build
According to the instructions, the exhaust nozzle should be glued at the end of the fuselage. I can't find any pictures in my books that support this. So I just went with the pictures
I skipped panel line washes as I was keen to build.....
My pride and joy, until the F-89 is finished
This is such a cool jet. One of the most beautiful ever built. I think she could give a Cougar/Panther a run for 1st prize
...
Build was quite easy, good fit. But who thought that to insert the cockpit through the bombbay was a good idea, must have been drunk

The Voodoo does look good Martin - it's one of my favourite modern jets as well.

Some awesome rides there, Marty! I'm gonna take a stab in the dark, that the KW Aerodyne is the Revell 1/32 scale version?

Martin, I kinda figured. If it was 1/25-1/24, I would've seen it in my newsfeed. Still looks awesome though! I have the AC/DC combination, on my bedroom shelf, in 1/32. I had to give it a try, but it's definitely not my scale. They do have some amazing kits though, in that scale. Jarrett was a big fan of them. I've not seen that guy around, for a while though. Hope he's doing ok?

Nice assortment of builds, and I especially like that Scorpian. It's on my to-do list in 1/48 one of these days.

Some more pictures of completed builds. I hope there's still progress in my skills 😉

After my infamous start with the Fokker D VIII (WALL OF SHAME: Revell Fokker D VII | Album by Mahoo76) and some of which I'm too ashamed, my skills have evolved. I hope for the better.
