My camera & the lighting make the plastic look Orange, but it is a nice brown color. The thing I don't like is the tracks! Obviously they aren't going to roll with that long flat section. Are they all like this?? The other three I have, have vinyl tracks,,,, do they roll ???? I don't know, I've never built a tank!
But I guess for the price I can't complain. It's just gonna sit on a shelf anyway, but it seems kinda strange to me. Are the wheels even made to turn??

Thanks a lot for that info.
I'm new to tank (armor) kits. I just assumed ALL kits would have rolling wheels & moveable tracks. Kinda like a car kit, the wheels turn, an airplane kit, the props rotate, but I guess not!
Both of the Monograms & the 1 Tamiya kits I have, have the rubber tracks. I assume they move,,,???
The Bronco set looks like a good option,,, IF the wheels turned ,,,, ???
Maybe I just need to build a few and see how things go together on a tank. This Italeri kit seemed like a great deal but I didn't realize about the tracks! Hmmmm.....
I've looked at some of those Tamiya kits w/poly "bearings", great idea!
I've also been checking out some AFV Club kits, they seem above average. I want a couple !!
I'll just have to play it as I go and see what works out.

these are link and length tracks, a bit in the middle between rubber and separate tracks. Bet way for me is to put the wells in their position, attach the bottom part, then the rest and fix them all with glue. Afterwards, you can take them off your model for painting. Works fine.

BTW, don't follow the instructions for painting the engine, but make a search for reference pictures...

Thanks again James, good information! Funny I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday and they had the Tamiya M4A3E8 Sherman "Easy Eight", so I bought it. It has the vinyl tracks & those poly caps from the reviews I see. I haven't opened it yet. I'll get at it today and make an album.
