I was pretty impressed with the detail, especially for a Snap together kit, so I had to take pics and make an album so anyone interested can see what you're getting.

Crazy thing is I bought it BECAUSE it was "1/72" scale and would match the X-Wing Fighters I bought.!! Oh Well I guess no one will notice,,, ya think?? LOL

There are a few more Star Wars kits I want to get. I don't want everything, just this one, the X-Wings, R2D2, BB8 & C3PO. That's about it. They have the big Imperial Star Destroyer at Hobby Lobby, but that one really doesn't interest me. I want just the main characters.
Well,,,, MAYBE a TIE fighter! Also @ HL for less than $20 w/coupon. Maybe!

Nice, It is pretty neat. I have 2 1/72 scale Falcon's. They are either AMT or MPC, I don't remember which. I have the big Star Destroyer also. The bummer is that my wife won't let me build any of the damn things. I have darn near the whole Star Fleet, and most of the Star Wars. I don't have any of the new X-wings, but if I buy them she won't let me build any of them. LOL. I found a oroginal release Aurora 1/48 Bristol F-2B biplane, from 1956 still sealed in the original plastic. I can't build it of course. LOL. So guess I will hve to get the New Revell one. LOL.

Hey Robert, I was looking at kits today and found most of the Revells don't have a scale marked on them so I bought a Bandai. How did you know the kit you got was a 1/72?

It's not 1/72 ! It's actually about 1/92 scale.
I been looking at these for some time now. Most SAY they are 1/72, but if you look at Revell's newer release KIT, it states it as 1/72 & is 17-15/16" long & has 904 parts !!. This kit is only 14.7" & 53 parts, so something didn't jive.
The Snap kit on Revell's page is the same length but has 85 parts, and you're right it doesn't state a scale. Neither does this kit box or instructions.
After checking reviews I really only found out that this older release has less parts, but has figures. The newer release has more parts, but no figures. I figured at nearly 15" long it would be the size I want it to be. 18" would be better, but 15" is big enough for me. A lot of sellers say it's 1/72, I assumed it was, but after looking further I figured it couldn't be, but what the heck it's BIG enough and the detail is great. I like it!!
I haven't seen a Bandai 1/72 Millennium Falcon kit. Where did you get it and $$$$???
I do have 2 Bandai X-Wings and wanted a 72nd Falcon to match, but,,,,, this one will do fine.

What happened to me was I picked up a Revell snap tight kit at Hobby lobby and thought it was 1/72 then I was at my local hobby shop when I noticed no scale size, so when I came home with a Bandai Tie fighter I checked my X-wing. I didn't get the Falcon for money reasons and don't recall the price. Sorry

Timothy, Yea Revell's 1/72 scale Falcon KIT is over $200 !! Yikes! I'm sure it's real nice but a bit pricey for me. This one will do. I'm looking again this morning on ebay and I still see the SNAP kits saying 1/72 ! 85-1822 the newer release is basically the same as the one I have but no scale. The SNAP kits are about 1/92 scale, 14.7 inches long. They also have even smaller ones.

I goofed yesterday, my 2 falcons are 1/58 cutaway versions of the falcon. My wife won't let me build any of them, because she thinks some day they may be worth something. LOL.

Hey Clifford, then tell her; you're right honey, I'll go grab a 1/72 or 1/48 kit and build that one , and save the others! Maybe that'll fly??? LOL Just trying to help!
