Forgotten helicopters Mil Mi-4A
This Mi-4A was 1963 in the helicopter squadron 31 (HG-31) in operation.
From September 1972, this machine was briefly handed over to the GST and got the civil license DM-WSB assigned.
Deposited at the military training area (TÜP) in Storkow, the cell which had been slaughtered was used by the Chemical Service of the NVA for training purposes.
Since 1990, the cell has remained unchanged in the Cottbus Airfield Museum. Since there are just too many parts missing, it is unlikely that they will ever be seen in a complete state again.
The kit of Hobby Boss served as output kit
Well, one could actually think, oh such a diorama can build quickly, is not true and most of the parts contained in the kit, he has anyway omitted.
This was preceded by an extensive research on the original, in which about a hundred photos were taken.
Engine and interior built to 80% scratch
A special prize from IPMS Wroclaw in Berlin / Gatow

Beautiful wreck 👍 The main advantage seems, that clear parts are not needed 🙂

Lovely. The shell looks very shiny for such an old bird. I never saw the original, so I can't judge if it is too much. Model looks stunning!

amzaing - you can't tell the difference between model and original! It's easy to overdo weathering and it's very hard to match the look of the original! Congrats for a perfect job

Fantastic job! Picture 5, with the little base, is my favorite.
Toll in Szene gesetzt und fotografiert - das Gesamtpaket überzeugt!
