Jaja! Yes...! Now I'm trying to figure out the sail. As I don't know how to sew, my attempts have been really a disappointment...... In the meantime I keep moving with the shields...the 28 of them. Very repetitive work as the tracks of a tank!

I assembled the ship's hull following the kit instructions. Fist the keel and the ribs were assembled and glued. The this skeleton was covered with wood strips which were soaked in water and press into place to shape them properly and let them dry for at least 12 hrs. The strips were glued and nailed in place. Then the hull received a thorough sanding and the support sheet for the deck was glued in place. I finished the hull with a mixture of oils, varnish and wax. I decided to do this at this stage because later assembly will include details that I may damage with my wood finishing process
