For the scale 1: 100 the span is 6 cm too big.

It is indeed a varient of the 95, was a noisy sod.. was the base for the Tu-126 Moss.

Exactly Łukasz, that's the project. About 50 years ago, I certainly built the model twice. Now it has to be again.

Hammer !)
Beautiful bird, great project, no doubt you'll do justice to such a precious old gem ! Watching !

Thanks for the Christmas greetings.
It certainly will not be the absolute scale model. The kit does not give her. But, as far as the kit can expect, there will be some changes. For the scale 1: 100 the span is 6 cm too big.

Btw, I found a fun video re. this subject the other day. Apparently the wings were mounted lower than with the Tu-95.

Thanks, nice video. 👍 Yes, the wings are lower on the fuselage, you need space for the passengers.

Great work, Berhard! Dumb question maybe.... If the wingspan was 6 cm too wide, how was the fuselage length? Just thinking it might not actually be 1:100....
26 January 2019, 17:39
![](/profiles/img/19051-324-s.jpg)
No idea how to get at the manufacturer on the scale. 1: 100 is wrong on all corners. The fuselage is 7cm too short and the wingspan 6cm too big. To at least adapt the relations, the wings had to be trimmed.

I remember buying these kits as a boy 11-12 years, they were really cheap and would get one each week with my pocket money for about a month. Never painted them just put decals on , plenty of glue finger prints .
I could remember what they were until l accidentally came across one " Remember being dead proud showing my dad the finished models on the included stands.
Nice work n thanks for the upload n good memories 😀👍
