Hi, Nice truck. I am about to start building two of these. Any fitment issues you could share with me?

Thanks Bill! I did notice when mounting the cab to the chassis that the air intake and shift linkage came in a bit too high, so you'll probably want to wait to cement those in place until you can dry fit the cab. The floorpan into the cab exterior was also a pretty tight fit.

Thanks Brandon. I will watch for that. I am contemplating using the V8 and longer chassis from a Ford Straight truck. (I just can't leave well enough alone)

Brandon, What did you do about that nasty half seam on the cabin shell parts? I couldn't think of anything with mine without ruining the textured rivets, so I did nothing...

Chris, I didn't end up having to do much with the seem where the cab halves join together - it is still somewhat visible on mine if you look closely. It can be helped with some careful deflashing; making sure the halves fit flat against each other before cementing. It may also come out worse on some kits than others - who knows how old the tool for the cab is... anyway despite that, I think yours turned out nice!

Thanks! The first kit of mine that didn't come with a color scheme, I freaked out a little then just had fun!
