Janet Airlines B737-600 "Area 51 Taxi"
Nice patch for Janet Airlines.
Another patch. I may get one to display with the kit.
Slicing up a perfectly good kit is always a little scary. This is required to shorten the fuselage for a “600” airframe.
Comparison between the shorter 600 and the original 800 fuselage.
Here’s the shortened fuselage with Apoxie Sculpt added to fill the window holes. My kit had no clear parts. I wish manufacturers would just engrave the shape of the windows instead of making huge holes. Decal windows in the scale look much better than thick clear parts that come with most kits.
First coat of primer has been added. Just a few small spots that will require a bit more filler along with another round of sanding.

Updating another project. Finally purchased the decal set so I'll be working on this one again soon.

Added a shot of the "almost" completed fuselage after shortening. Used Apoxie-Sculpt to seal up the side window ports since the kit did not have any clear parts for them.

Thanks for your interest mates. The only recent update has been the cockpit glass/roof installation and the first coat of Tamiya primer to check on the new seams.
