Actually, this is an undercoat. Most of the Egyptian or Syrian T-62's seem to have a light green paint colour showing underneath of the Desert camouflage. So my plan is to use the hairspray chipping technique, so we'll see how that works.

And now way you can manage the area rule with this design. Totally sub sonic.

I can see this now....A propeller on the end of the barrel! Maybe it will help when it does a barrel roll!?

That's for the next 1/72 project... the F-8E Crusaders... This one I"m just going to bend a bit of wire...😉

So... I painted the T-62 green... applied a coat of Future, then hairspray, and then a coat of "Desert Yellow" and started chipping a bit. After about 5 minutes, I had a wet, green and yellow tank that looked like it had been attacked by a toothpick.
So now I'm painting it two shades of Desert yellow and building a Jeep too...

Always interesting builds coming from Area 88. Sitting back and watching.

Sorry Spanjaard, I decided to hide my shame in anonymity and didn't document it. I've done chipping on planes and it's gone well enough. I think I just forgot the first rule of the hairspray chipping technique... less is more. ;
Thanks Bryn... enjoy the show.😉

Yep. That's three... well, four if you count the one I modified beyond recognition into the three-wheeler from Totoro. But who's keeping track... besides Alex.😉.

Paint on the tracks... just makes me think more and more that I don't know what I should be doing...

It's amazing how much a panel wash makes a dull paint job pop. I'm not completely happy with the outcome so far, but I'll chalk it up as a learning experience. Still a bit more to do, so I still have time to completely screw it up. 🙂

All right, I'm calling this one done. I might've been able to do more with the treads... but we'll save that for another adventure.
