What a sweet box... I expect nothing less from Sweet.

Such fine details. Lovely. Their kits really are a joy to build.

A quick dry fit to get a look at things.
![Album image #4 Album image #4](/albums/img/6/1/5/709615-26441-27-720.jpg)
Space drilled out for the motor.
![Album image #5 Album image #5](/albums/img/6/1/4/709614-26441-35-720.jpg)
Engine painted.
![Album image #6 Album image #6](/albums/img/4/4/0/710440-26441-92-720.jpg)
DC Motor fit in place and all wired up.

Apparently the pilot is shy... so no pics. But he's in there under the canopy masking. Now for a coat of black under shading.
![Album image #8 Album image #8](/albums/img/6/3/7/716637-26441-96-720.jpg)
Underside of the fuselage painted light grey, then masked for the top.
![Album image #9 Album image #9](/albums/img/6/3/6/716636-26441-54-720.jpg)
With the blue on, it’s starting to look like a Wildcat. Since it's basically a WHIF, I didn't bother trying to figure out the exact right shade of blue.
![Album image #10 Album image #10](/albums/img/5/7/0/717570-26441-27-720.jpg)
Ah yes, the propeller...
![Album image #11 Album image #11](/albums/img/7/6/4/717764-26441-19-720.jpg)
Engine test... GOOD!
![Album image #12 Album image #12](/albums/img/1/6/1/718161-26441-87-720.jpg)
And that's more or less a wrap! I still need a radio antenna though...

Hah! This one is a bit of a trick actually. I got started on this kit over six months ago and got as far as painting the cockpit and engine before I realized... I had the wrong kit. It was intended for a Leijiverse project but that one needs a F6F Hellcat. So I put this one back in the box for the future... but now that my first 3 Voir er Savoir projects are more or less done, I figured I should drag it back out and finish it off.

Scrolling through my pics looking for these pics reminded me I did the exact same thing mixing up a Fw190 and a Me109... so that one is likely to jump in here sooner rather than later.😉

Oh, and BTW, you still have to update / add the Voir et Savoir PLUS collection in SCM as well... just saying...

An other project ? You build faster than I can scroll through scalemates.

Hahahaha... not quite. As I said, I had a big headscarf on this one...😉

A little progress, got the motor wired up and glued to the back of the engine. I've learned to let the CA jell off-gas for a while before shutting it inside the fuselage. The fumes find a way out... sometimes in the worst way.

This one is coming together quickly. Pretty straightforward actually... grey... blue... Wildcat.

And that's almost a wrap. I just need to string up the radio antenna and fiddle a bit with the base. Fun little build.

Thanks Roland. The Sweet kit really was sweet to build. I have another one as well, so now I'm just looking for an excuse.😉
