One last hail Mary before we go.
The starting point...
Dramatis personae
I found the truncated cobblestone in the street and thought: this is a nice cobblestone to put my cobblestone road on... 😉
The chapel and the lamp post had been prepared a long time ago.
Chapel finished.
And glued next to the cobblestone road.
The emplacement for the bench and the lantern in white.
State of the rest of the project.
Working on the interior.

The strange thing is: I painted this about two or three years ago and it was much lighter. Dunno why it has become this dark in the mean time. I remember having used 7 different grey-brown paints to give it a realistic look.

Nothing that a fresh coat of dust can't remedy! Many thanks for the info, René.

The base is there, working on the model.
It's my first Meng kit. Fits quite well.

I'm re-starting my FT 17 project, a diorama where the two members of the tank's team are having a spiritual break before a little roadside chapel. All the while, a village worker has stopped to contemplate them (or the tank).
