@Alex: basecolor was va model air sand and light brown mixed 50/50.
shading over the base color: i can't recall the exact ratios, but it was mixed from tamiya's buff, desert yellow and deck tan until TLAR and then gradually lightened with flat white for the highlights. this paint was very thin of course, i just used it as a filter over the base coat.
