Album info
I recently purchased a 1979 Tamiya kit for an Australian Army Fire Support Vehicle. The vehicle was a merger of an American M113 with a British Saladin armoured car turret. The vehicles were used during the Vietnam war and continued to be used until the mid 1970's. I first did this kit, as a boy, in the early 1980's (yes I am that old). As an Australian I remember being quite chuffed that Tamiya reproduced an Australian tank. I'm not overly happy with my most recent effort as I over did the rain streaking on the right side (last photo) but here it is along with some historical pictures.
