Riveting process. Using different templates

Polising canopy. First #2000, #2500, #3000. Then polish using Formula 1 Scratch Out
Detailing landing gear. materials include styrene bits, solder wire 0.2mm, 0.3mm, copper wire 0.1mm, masking tape.
Alclad ALC-101 Aluminum
basic green is RLM71 Dark Green. basic grey is XF-66 Light Grey. the other bottles RLM02 and XF-63 is for mottling and color variation
Results of polish. Original canopies were full of scratches
Masking of wheel. I used a Hasegawa Tri-tool circle template to mask the wheels. it is faster that way
After several layers of paint. The blue is a bit too small I think. may need a repaint.
I used Tamiya curved masking tape to make the elliptical boundary
Using OLFA circle cutter with a modified blade so that It can cut until 1mm. originally, it as a limit of 4mm diameter.
rescriber and 0.2mm chisel to improve the surface details.

Hi @Julian I added 2 images of the customized OLFA cutter. In essence, I relocated the blade outside its original location and secure it with tape. To ensure that the needle and blade is firm and do not move, I inserted wire insulator material.

Thank you @Julian. I made a few trials. once I am confident that the blade is not moving, I could make 2mm diameter circles easily. glad it was helpful

Album info
I wanted to know how far I can update this old kit with whatever I have on my bench. I have upgraded the kit with new recessed panel lines, new rivets, extensive wiring of all the landing gear, new ejection seats and pilots from Hasegawa, and aftermarket decals from Model Art. Big thanks to @D. Ninetalis who had generously provided the Model Art decal!
