This is my second Spitfire Mk. Vc in Hellenic markings. Once again, I used the Tamiya Mk. Vb kit 1/48 scale as a basis for this conversion.
This time the conversion was easy because of the excellent C-type resin wing from Montex.
I also used Aires resin cockpit,wheels from True Details,exhausts from CMK and canopy from Falcon.
I painted the model overall Aluminium with Night Black antiglare panel using paints from Xtracolour range. This was the typical post-war scheme in use with Hellenic Air Force for advanced training and during the Greek civil war.
This particular Spitfire was in use with RAF in Middle East and Malta and passed in Greek Squadrons in Italy during WW2
