It's a kind of "back to the roots" ... I made a Defiant model once, in 1975, from the Airfix kit (still in a plastic bag).
For a long time it stood on the shelf with all the Spitfires and Hurricanes that were "acquired" with difficulty (Poland in the 1970s...).
Until it got lost in the next move...

Following. I bought a batch of old Airfix kits on eBay, including this one, and I'll be building one of my own soon enough. I look forward to more updates.
