Oshkosh M-ATV
The old punching bag is coming along
All that photoetch
The caterpillar C7 engine looks amazing.
After several hours of building the insanely detailed chassis it’s time to begin the paint job. While I know most of it won’t be visible I still decided to make a two tone pre-shade before giving it a final tan coat.
Disclaimer 1: I will do the hood shut so I didn’t go overboard on the engine.
Disclaimer 2: lots of detail means lots of parts, lots of parts means lots of room to screw up. I’m I bit nervous about how the headache-inducing chassis and engine are going to go together with the rest of the model.
Reflection: had Tamiya made an M-ATV kit I think my life would have been easier right now.
