Alpha Models McLaren 600LT

The hardest part was the carbon fiber coating, I applied primer, four coats of Orange with a clear pearl coat and like seven gloss coats evened out during multiple days. The Interior has cloth for the seats and fiber decals. The biggest take away is the engine cover, the real car has see through cover, I replicated it with a metal mesh to simulate the "cover" on the engine. At the end of the day, not a real fan of resin kits, they were two parts of the kit that were printed smaller and didn't fit right with the actual ki, you can spot it because it's obvious. I tried to make the best out of possible, since I tried reaching to Alpha Models about spares and got no response, the clear plastic was foggy from the get-go and abs plastic had an amber color to them. I honestly dislike the one mold approach to the kit; I like it when they come together with different panels. I was fighting with the decals coming off from masking and coating that it was a headache in the end. Hope you enjoy this; this was built as a favor for a friend!
