Hasegawa 99' Subaru WRX Wagon

My First Scale Model Car. A 1/24 scale Hasegawa 95-99 Subaru WRX "Sports" Wagon

This is the WRX I've always wanted, basic, old, and most of all WRB. I was originally searching for an '05 Impreza wagon, as that was a car I have previously owned, and no one makes a VA WRX scale model kit that I have found. I came across this model and immediately bought it around 2018 and it sat in my closet for years while I built and painted fantasy wargaming models.

I transferred my knowledge from painting miniatures to this scale model car but it did not transmit well for certain things. One mostly of all being, my varnish did not play well on large flat panels, or I do not have the recipe correct.

This was painted using Golden Fluid Acrylics, Vallejo Model Color, and Reaper Master Series/Bones CORE/Sample paints. Varnished using a mix of Liquitex Gloss Varnish + Liquitex Airbrush Medium + Liquitex Flow Aide
