A pair of miniature Mig-15s

Eduard's Mig-15s, went together pretty well with no big complications. Eduard does not specify that you need to add weight into the nose, I didn't realize that until the final assembly and got myself a nice pair of tail-sitters 🙁 Fortunately, couple of lead pieces implanted into the nose saved the day!

Also this was my first attempt on airbrushing the Ammo Mig metallic acrylic colors. It went on smoothly over the gloss black base, but they seem to be quite fragile (even after covered by a layer of acrylic varnish) - when I started applying paneliner and attempted to remove the excess of it, it started to scrape the metallic color. Two layers of varnish later and allowing a week to cure it I was finally able to finish the build by making the planes a bit dirty.
