Autobus Parisien

The engineering and the fit is surprisingly good but the moulds show their age and the plastic is woeful- very very soft and not nice to work with. Many parts were badly warped and even after many attempts to straighten them still cause this build to be much more difficult than it should have been.

The decals were thin but fine. A little translucent but since no decal need to be applied across more than one color this was not an issue. They reacted well to Micro Set and Sol. The kit comes with two options for the side commercial. I asked my wife which one to use and she cleverly suggested to use each option on each side so this is what I did.

Very happy with the paint application, actually, I think my best yet. I mostly contribute this to using Mr. Hobby PS-275 and PS-290 trigger airbrushes to apply the paint on the larger surfaces (PS-290 has a 0.5 needle and the PS-275 has a 0.3mm needle). Truly excellent airbrushes.
