77 Fleetside

Revell GMC Fleetside with plow, will be built without a plow... just as a general shop truck. I opened the kit and during inspection found the bed to be warped. I made several attempts to use my heat gun on a low setting to tweak the bed back. I let the heat gun go too long and made the bed worse. I cut the kit bed and scratch built a bed back into it, complete with bed details. My scratch building needs greater work but I am pleased with how things turned out. I also opened up the GMC grill, modified the radiator but cutting it out and putting layers of window screen mesh in to give it a more real look. I have really enjoyed trying out new things on this kit.
