Thank you.. My only concern is you you mention playing the resin in hot water to fit the glass.. I assume you can then split the resin and glass after this to paint the resin?

Yes, it's possible But I don't recommend it.
Because it can be broken or deformed.
I recommend assembling after paint the frame part.
The reason I mentioned warm water is just a small tip for easy assembly.
