Outstanding! So many details dispersed over the whole model. Always new things to be dicovered.

Dafür hast du ein Supermodell gebaut, Jörg.
Und die Bismark Sammelserie kommt auch auf 2 Jahre nur das Ergebnis da 🙁

Another masterpiece - your eye for details and execution really makes this an engrossing kit. Mike is right, 24 pics are too few, I can imagine spending hours just looking at all of the stuff you have done on this build. Bravo!

I very much admire your work Jörg. You show what an expert can do with the 1:200 scale. Adding crew also makes a big difference for large scale ships. You make me consider building a 1:200 ship but first I must improve my skills and train my patience for a year or longer project 🙂

Thanks for the comments everyone. I'm glad you like the pot.
Chrisswe. That's right, the crew breathes life and depth into the model and also illustrates what a large ship this is.
I would be very happy if I could inspire you with my favorite scale. And when I see your outstanding Tirpitz, I don't think it will take you that long to start such a mega project.
Have you also read my construction report on the Bismarck?

My German is a little rusty but I think I can follow you report. I'm eyeing the USS Enterprise (CV-6) for a 1:200 build. It will probably not be too hard to start such a project but hard to finish it😅.

@ CaptGPF, Thank you for your comment. I hope you liked that Wicked 😄 😉 this Is an old project that is on hold as well as the photos. I hope to take better photos and complete it.
@ Mr James Thank you for your Nice words. I hope you also liked that Wicked 😄 The tree is a bonsai that had died, I cut some leaves because they were too big. If I remember correctly, I spread small wood shavings and other natural ones that I had in my vegetation stash on the ground.
Also, I thank the new likes. Apreciated

I'm very happy to say that I've returned to my mancave this weekend after a to long hiatus.
So to start I preferred a lighter job, although painting horses is not, in my opinion, easy.

@Alec, Thank you for your kind words and support. It is always great for me to receive such encouragement, even more so, when they come from a master modeler.
@Doubtingmango thx mate, I agree with you., but hey, I can only return to my bench on weekends, só it Will take some time to finish. For me the most important thing was getting my mojo back.
@Gorby, Thank you very much my friend, for your motivational words. They are always very important to me.
The horse will still improve, I hope. At least that's what I'll try to do without ruining all the work that has already been done 🤔 😉

@Landlubber Mike. Thank you for your comment. Glad you like this one
@Desert Marlin, I know whar you mean. I've been hesitating about highlights with a soft airbrush of satin black or satin varnish on the most exposed surfaces. I hadn't thought about copper. But yes, it will have to have some shine.
@Ben M, Hahaha. Thank you. Your comment with a triple meaning has made me laugh several times, but in my defense I can tell you that this horse It is known as having the strength of an elephant and bites like a tiger. That's why they nicknamed him tiger elephant. 😄

Hello my friends! A warm welcome to each and every one of you!
Working on the parts of this kit can be considered bodily harm! The bright yellow hurts your eyes and you can't see any details or damaged areas that need work. I would have preferred a more common gray!

Hallo Frank, the set with lap belts only could be intended for the US Navy variant of the Stearman, the N2S. Until US entry in WW2, US Navy aircraft mostly did not have shoulder belts. I read this in a review of a 1/32 Vought Kingfisher while looking for seatbelts and wondering about the same thing for my 1/32 Revell/ICM N2S Stearman kit.

Welcome! Thanks Kenneth! That makes sense, as the kit offers also a yellow Navy plane with red stripes. Luckily my wife want it blue-yellow. All the pictures I found shows also shoulder belts, but that was mostly still flying machines and I guess the shoulder belts was added later.
I had already downloaded the ICM manual as an additional reference and looked at reviews because of an oddity on the upper wing. More on this later.

I used here MRP-142 Orange Yellow. If someone remembers my Piper: the yellow was "Dark Chrome Yellow" also from MRP. Even this one here called "Orange Yellow" is looks more yellow compared to the Piper.

Sergey, in Canada, there may not be as much interest in this bench hobby, however I sometimes encounter some young people in hobby stores who like to build scale models. I'm always encouraged with that! I was once a school teacher, and I led a model club. I wonder if these young people have continued in the hobby.
