Yeah really cool. I like to add X-22 also. Seems to help it spray better and be a bit more transparent of course. I also find I can decal without a gloss coat usually too. Then I put on a flat coat.

Chees Ben... I use X22 mostly to ensure the colours are fully saturated... When you overcoat with varnishes, flat paints can change their appearance... This is especially true for Tamiya Paints... Lovely as they are they'll go darker with a coat of varnish... Think of a dry piece of timber then wet it with water... The timber goes much darker... So adding X22 has multiple benefits but mainly for this reason... Transparency I tend to control via reducing the paint more (ie adding more thinner)... Have fun bud... Don't just collect those models...! #nightshift
