Cheers friends! After the Neptune, I needed a palette cleanser build, so I reached for a long-neglected kit from SH I promised I would build too long ago. It's a OOB (well, 98%ish) and a lightning build by my standards. Hope you enjoy, it truly is an excellent kit.

Very nice work so far, mate. I built a bigger sister of her ( Eduard bf 109E-7) and i remember, that put those parts of fuselage nose together is not a piece of cake.

Čau Jakube, well not many, but as this is already done I can wouch for the veracity of my claim 😉
As to the kit: the nose assembly was indeed a bit of a puzzle, but very doable. I wonder how closely SH and Eduard cooperated on this, the kit feels very Edíkovskej. Overall, a joy to put together. Cheers!

Nice start Alec - I laughed after seeing the title "palette cleanser" but no doubt for sanity you needed one after that amazing Neptune build. I had a similar need for a palette cleanser after my JRS-1 build, and that was nothing compared to your Neptune!

Thanks guys! The comic relief is not my own (saw it put that way by someone), but it does exemplify the woes of someone afflicted with AMS. Mind you, the Neptune started as an OOB…

Not a bad kit for its age. Some of the mods: Wheel wells cut out and detailed / nose wheel well and doors detailed and adjusted / canopy made to 3 parts - head rest, grab handle inner frame added / antenna added / whip antenna added / cockpit detail added with AM belts / missing panel lines scribed on tail / decals were added from spares and AM / not much else
