Thanks guys. I don't airbrush, so that was hairy stick, accompanied by a cotton bud for the oils.

Well thats even more impressive Steve. Any reason for no airbrushing? I would say it saves on paint and painting time, but an arse to clean and a faff to set up 🙂

No Airbrush makes the tank even better imo. It takes quite a bit of skill to achieve such a result

James, I have tried but just didn't get on with it. Struggled with thinning, I was wasting paint, making silly mistakes. It was sucking the fun out of it, and fun is what it's supposed to be. Luckily for my wallet, the airbrush and compressor were donations.
