Wow Aghis, its wonderful! Very nice, the way you "bleached" the camo! Did you use aftermarket wheels? It looks a little bit like that. Very nice work, really!!! 🙂

Thank you Holger, I am pleased that you like it, especially since it was an old neighbour of yours. I used the Quickboost wheels and the Aires cockpit. For the weathering I used various lighter mixes of RLM 70 & 71 and oils. Glad you like it 🙂

I ordered a set of Aires-Wheels for my "Baby", the rest becomes OOB. Did you have problems with the front air-intake? It seems to me that i have to sand and fill there a lot...

Oh yes! Fill and sand and spray and then all over again... also covered the leading edge with thin aluminium foil. I will post some detail shots in couple of minutes, take a look...

Also the supercharger intake grill is not good at all, I made it from thin plastic strips (11 grilles I think) .

Or sprayed first silver, then the colour and then chip the colour with a hobbyknife?

Kind of you Holger! Alclad aluminium sprayed on gloss black base, followed by RLM70. Then just scratch the paint off using a toothpick ar something similar and... voila! Alclad is quite resistant to abuse.

Definately Eduard! But there are some minor fittingproblems at the cowling. And the wingfit is even not so good...
