What white paint are you using?

its ammo mig white sprayed at 25psi over ammomig black oneshot. It only happens with white and cold/light compass grey. All other ammo mig and vallejo paints I've used cover well with no issues. Additional coats cover it up, but Id rather find out how to prevent it.

Are you sure the black was perfectly dry? Post an image of a black piece.

I dont have any pictures, but the black fully covered and the white was done a day later, so it was dry. I don't think I touched the parts without gloves, and if I did, I didnt touch the entire part. The dots cover the entire part.

Very strange, its looks like mold. Have you already tried with a white from another brand?

Not recently, but I can try when I get home today and let you know. I have some tamiya and vallejo, Ill do some test sprays on some leftover missiles from a while back. I can also experiment with wet primer, isopropyl alcohol cleaning, and oil from my hands. It may just be the paint, although I do think it strange that it only happens with a few light ammo colors

I have had some of the same issues when spraying some Mig paints (light compass grey) directly on plastic. When using Mr Surfacer 1500 it solved the problem. White is traditionally not that easy to spray and I usually spray it in several thin layers. This video is helpfull when it comes to Mig paints.

thank you erik, i appreciate it. Ill take a look. Would you recommend Mr surfacer over ammo oneshot? or have you not used it? Whats strange is that it does this even over a clean coat of primer

I will recommend Mr Surfacer 1500. I have never used Migs Oneshot primer.

I just primed a set of mk20s for the intruder, will paint white once it fully dries
