I had a Mk 10 in the early 1970s, the predecessor to this, probably the best car I have ever owned, it was so big you could have a party in the back.

Haha, Those cars in the 70s - I had a Ford Taunus (in GB Ford Cortina) 1971. It also had a "party room" in the back. Even this little car let me feel this room.

Looking great! The 1950/60s Jags are lovely looking things, I have mk.ii saloon and racing in my stash waiting until I feel I can do them justice, and I was planning to do the saloon in a champagne gold, and I think looking at your model it definitely suits it!!

Today I finished this car. I am happy how it looks and as I always say: My best model is the one I just finished. I learned a lot and the next one will be better.
hope you enjoyed the build and I want to say thank you for following and watching. 😄

This is my fourth Airfix 1:32 kit. One is still on order and will (hopefully) come on May 29th 2024 (5 Months in future). So I can build this one without any sorrow and if it fits it sits. The second one will get a funny coloring.
