First I sprayed Gunze panzergrey, then I added a few drops of Tamiya flesh and thinned this mixture a lot
I then sprayed this randomly in patches, concentrating on the surfaces that catches the most light
No filters or other techniques used so far ...

I'm gonna pick out a few smaller panels with a filter layer from Abteilung 502 Faded Navy Blue oil colour followed by the gloss coat

@Holger, about the P-47, it is the Academy kit, not the Revell release. (your message dissapeared from the wall ...). Fit is very good but I used filler on all wing and tailplane to fuselage joints, but only small quantity's. I brushed some Mr Surfacer 500 and afterwards 1000 into the seams and sanded down. It's a very nice kit but some stupid errors like the pitot tube on the wrong wing ...
