Porsche 356 B/C
Poor fit of glass to body due to warping.
Trying some washes to pop the seats a bit.
I prefer to spray on the trees as a good kit will have the sprue attachment on the tabs used in assembly... which didn't really apply to such a really old kit 🙁
Before I remembered that the inside was red!
Note for anyone trying to build this kit!
Alignment was everything, shame I couldn't figure it out in advance
This looked great - until I looked at the pic! It was touched up but honestly, you can't see it when assembled!
Almost there
Side mirrors had sink holes in them.
Engine was pretty detailed.
I managed to swap l/r on this so I had some dis-assembly to do.
Notes
Notes
Filled, painted chrome, then used a chrome pen. They turned out so so.
Looked like a real car getting a real paint job!
Underside becoming all black
Polished the Mission Models with these wipes that I also use to clean the glass (reduces dust as it eliminates static).
After polishing
First attempt at the bumpers
Bumpers were hard, I failed
The headlamps were in 3 pieces, with 2 clear. Tamiya tape and cockpit glue to to the rescue.
Final assembly
On display at my dad's house.
