Wow, what the hell is this? Oh yes, I know this kit, but I'm a damn slow builder. Yours looks great!
A little late for a fix, but I tell you this anyway as this can help others: The Revell kit has a problem with the bonnet. The front has no sprue gate, so if the remove the warm sprue from the machine and put it on a flat surface the front bends up. The result is, that it do not close at the end 🙁 This was easy to fix with boiling water and bend it down. I put mine a little bit to much inside, so I have to open it again - always dry test with the counter part.
And be careful with mounting the parts: Many build reports complains, that they run into a conflict with the hinge of the bonnet and the lower parts. I tried it with dry fitting and it seems to work as intended, if all other parts are sitting in right angle, but I do not know the final result yet.
Have fun you both!

Gotta admit mate, that's a striking livery!
Nice to see you having fun with your daughter. Precious times, and great memories 🙂

Bugsy, you're right. The bonnet is a bit too straight. And the hinges are too tight with paint on. In our case, we test fitted the thing and it scraped some paint off. We solved this by simple removing the hinges and mount the thing with a sliver of poster putty.
Today we did the assembly. I let her do the work, unless she asked me to help. All in all she's pretty pleased with the car 😁

Really loving the paintwork design, especially the dynamic swooping curves! It's full of personality now - perhaps a mirror on the designer 😉 Well done, team!

Although I really love the bordeaux/grey Charleston (which I once called mine) your colour choice is absolutely beautiful too. Nice to see this one so well completed.
