Revell U-Wing
simple 3mm blue LEDs for each of the engines. They have to be drilled out. It's easiest to remove the glued on end caps and place the leds behind them, then glue back on.
I created a channel for the cables just above the locator pins, and also hollowed out the cockpit/engine part. This piece houses the light and sound module by default, which has to be removed in order to fit the wiring.
inital paint, not sure where I'm going with this atm. Has a bit of a Jango Fett vibe to it right now.
tons of taping ensues...
It looks like a piece of junk. But it also doesn't have it where it counts 😛
I might add a cooling thingy from a Revell snowspeeder to the back IF I can cut it right without destroying it.
Sacrificed a Revell Snowspeeder for the cooling unit that's missing from the model. The size is pretty much perfect, but it still takes lots of filing and sanding
cutting up some styrene to fill up the rather empty part on the bottom and get a halfway accurate look
I guess I'm calling it done for now. Base is made from a picture frame, pressing it down activates the sound module and cockpit light.

Your builds never cease to amaze, Markus! All that's missing is the You-Tube videos so we can see it blink and hear the sounds!
