I found a build article discussing mixing Sky, Dark Sea Grey and Slate Grey from Tamiya paints as I wasn’t in the mood to order specific paints for this build.

Got some Interior Green on! Although painted to MOD paint standards, Grumman painted the interior in their go to colors.

…but managed to get some Sky mottling in!

Due to the lack of contrast between the two upper colors it was hard to distinguish the freehand mottling and shading I applied.

Well, yeah... The Eduard kit is true fun fit wise, but this one is a nice pallet cleanser. 😛

For a Matchbox kit, this looks really neat! I am looking forward to seeing it being built.

Hi Thomas, it's a very basic '70s era kit. My experience with Matchbox is that even though the kits are simple, they fit well and are correct shapewise. Hopefully, this weekend I can add the wings and start priming.
