Wonderful Pascal! How did you ad the rivets? I'm trying to do this at the tank of my Renault RE20...I'm at the edge of despair.

Thanks a lot for the comments and sorry for late reply.
2K is really easy to use, truly.
A first very light coat which give a "foggy" aspect almost mat finish, then a wet coat about 10 minutes later, not too far from the part (about 1.5 or 2cm).
It works almost the same way with all airbrushes, but my favorite to do that job is the IWATA HP-TH 0.5 flat pattern nozzle.
It also work with a 0.15 nozzle adding some thinner😉
Stefan, the rivets are from Archer Fine Transfers. These are resin raised heads on a decal sheet support: very easy to use, cheap and different sizes are provided... a great product!!
I use those resin rivets for years on bodies with no "engraved rivets". Perfect on the 312P.
The last pictures uploaded in the album show resin rivets installed on a resin body with engraved rivet heads.

That body paint finish is to die for, be having dreams again tonight, hopefully not b1%6y rivets again😮

just a quick tip for those who planning on going over to 2k. use a real paint mask, not just a dust mask from your local garden shop. and don´t go answering your phone while still having urethane in your airbrush and then forget about it 🙂

Thanks Steve.
Great advice about the paint mask Alexander!
Same about the 2K in the airbrush😉
Added riveted bodies & clear coated parts pics.

Both rivets and the paint job looks perfect, or maybe flawless is the right word 👍
