Academy Prague 38(t) Hetzer
The hull assembly begins
I love doing the wheels
Track link and length were a joy to assemble
Photo etch parts were very thick and hard to fold
All assembled and ready for paint
Using up my Tamiya rattle cans as primer
Primer on and it's very bright!
Hull red toned down with some weathering using hull red and black
Track links painted and weathered with Tamiya pigment set
Parts all ready for final assembly
Those colourful decals go on
Adding grime, rust and mud

Pravda vítězí! 😄
I really like how you toned the hull 👍
What washes did you used for the final streak touch? Artists oil colors?

Base coat was Tamiya red rattle can lacquer, then I mixed half Tamiya flat black with flat red and airbrushed on in random patches and layers. Finally I ran a thin top coat of Lifecolour German camo red/brown until I had the colour shade I wanted. All the streaks, rust and grime effects were done with Ammo MIG washes as shown in the video.

looks good, though it's like the streaking is running upwards instead of down at some places.

Funny you should say it runs upwards because that is how I brush stroked it to get the look I wanted..

If you look at real streaks on things left outside in reality they can pool at the bottom and be thin at the top.. thus the reverse brush stroke to get that effect.
