MQ-9 Reaper
Big pieces put together
Trying to correct the main gear openings
Tried to correct the wing warp, but melted a bit of the trailing edge. Replaced the worst with card stock
Boxing in the main gear well
Wings are straight now, though...
Main gear openings and well, after paint
Engine nacelle with intake and exhaust added
Added clear wingtip lights
Another look at the light
Ready for paint
Decided to get back to work on this one, since there didn't seem to be that much left to do
Paint is done; next step is gloss coat
More parts in progress (less the Avenger cockpit of course)...
Drying after the post-decals gloss coat...
Hopefully getting the flat coat done before the weekend is over, and then get it on its gear
Flat coat complete...
... and gear down and locked! The end is in sight (but still so far away 🙂 )
Just the propeller and the sensor turret to go (debating whether to add 2 more Brimstones, too...)
Ball turret ready for installation...
...and here it is in place!
Re-doing the propeller as the blades were moulded onto the hub

looks a lot like the italeri I made a while ago. I found that the front pitot was pretty weak, and ended with replacing it with the tip of a needle

Bart, that IS the Italeri kit! Well, Italeri reboxed it. Peter, this is coming along nicely! 👍

Thanks, guys. Tougher kit than I thought it would be as it has its issues! Really don't like the Skunkworks decals; they don't seem to stick!
