Finnaly started with the project. Some fine details on the instrument panel, control column and sidewall panels. There were no decals for the cockpit. While painting the small details i noticed that i need a new brush. Used the 3/0 brush for the details. I think i need to order a fine one, something like 5/0.
I got the KM-1 ejection seat in resin and i think i will use it instead of the kit seat. Right now i dont know if i build the canopy closed or opened.

in my last (incomplete) build, I used an "artistic" marker with white acrylic paint to highlight the instrument panel, and then I gave a tiny bit of colour on top of the white with a small brush, 3/0 or 4/0. much easier over the white than over dark cockpit colour.

The instrument panel looks awesome, you just added black and some white "dotting" ), it is amazing how the thing gets three dimensional depth!

A little update on the jet. I finished the cockpit and painted the nose.

Finished the build. I really have some mixed feelings for this kit. Some of the parts have nice details and the mold is very good. But many of the parts are molded into the spure and have flash. Sometimes it looked like an short run kit for me. :-/

Update: This project is on hold/canceled. Placed the model to dry on a shelf and it fell down followed by heavy boxes. It was completely smashed by the boxes.
Maybe i will start another one in the future maybe i will not. Time will tell.

Somthing like this happens sometime. But hey, nothing bad happens and life is going on. I will build and finish another one in the future. 🙂
