![Album image #1 Album image #1](/albums/img/4/1/0/368410-29327-94-720.jpg)
This is the objective
![Album image #2 Album image #2](/albums/img/4/0/5/368405-29327-41-720.jpg)
The boom for atmospheric research must be removable, of course
![Album image #3 Album image #3](/albums/img/4/0/6/368406-29327-47-720.jpg)
Cockpit (Weekend Edition 🙂 It's a dirty job, but someone's got to do it. Thanks a lot Paragon, you turn the Testers kit into a Bronco!
![Album image #4 Album image #4](/albums/img/4/0/8/368408-29327-17-720.jpg)
![Album image #5 Album image #5](/albums/img/4/0/9/368409-29327-31-720.jpg)
First check, if it is on the way to become a Bronco. Far less than 50% of the parts will come from the original kit in the end...
![Album image #6 Album image #6](/albums/img/4/1/1/368411-29327-87-720.jpg)
Rework the metal gear
![Album image #7 Album image #7](/albums/img/4/1/2/368412-29327-42-720.jpg)
Done
![Album image #8 Album image #8](/albums/img/4/1/3/368413-29327-72-720.jpg)
The proof, it will not be a tail-sitter!
![Album image #9 Album image #9](/albums/img/4/1/4/368414-29327-70-720.jpg)
Removed the orange skin on the 'clear' parts and masked
![Album image #10 Album image #10](/albums/img/4/1/5/368415-29327-34-pristine.jpg)
Front part of the canopy was too wide ...
![Album image #11 Album image #11](/albums/img/4/1/6/368416-29327-28-720.jpg)
Now I am confident, that the Bronco will finish some day 😉
![Album image #12 Album image #12](/albums/img/4/1/7/368417-29327-86-720.jpg)
![Album image #13 Album image #13](/albums/img/4/1/8/368418-29327-97-720.jpg)
First (home made) decals applied
![Album image #14 Album image #14](/albums/img/4/1/9/368419-29327-99-720.jpg)
Right hand boom is decorated
![Album image #15 Album image #15](/albums/img/4/2/0/368420-29327-78-720.jpg)
Right hand side of the fuselage looks ok so far.
![Album image #16 Album image #16](/albums/img/6/3/6/378636-29327-20-720.jpg)
To be honest, i had planned the roll-out tonight...
![Album image #17 Album image #17](/albums/img/6/3/7/378637-29327-74-720.jpg)
...and then I noticed, a simple mind GLUED THE WHEELS IN PLACE!
![Album image #18 Album image #18](/albums/img/6/3/8/378638-29327-25-720.jpg)
However, I'm glad she is finished and looks decent, a kind of similar to the original, in spite of all inaccuracies and faults.
![Album image #19 Album image #19](/albums/img/6/3/9/378639-29327-71-720.jpg)
Not the final photo setup, I hope, better pix will follow 🙂
![Album image #20 Album image #20](/albums/img/6/4/0/378640-29327-49-720.jpg)
And this is the place for her in the display cabinet.

Interesting Bronco Thomas. Never knew NASA operated one. Looking good so far 👍

Thanks Erik, I still hope I can finish her before the Hazmat Bronco is released. I guess I'll have to redo then 😉
Btw, NASA operates (or did) a number of interesting Types. Fit perfectly my schema of objectives, i.e. F-16, F-16XL, F/A-18, UH-1D, S-3B, OV-10A, ...
Some more for my collection. On occasion I'll add another album containing my NASA Viking

Well done - I like the paintwork! .. and you had to do a "push out" instead of a "roll out"?

Fantastic result, refreshingly unusual subject, she's a real beauty!
That looks like a lot of work to drill through these solid "walls" of metal on the landing gear, why did they release it like this anyway?

Thank you all, I highly appreciate all your comments.
@Alexander: Maybe you are aware that 'Sale Aircraft Conversion' do just a 1:1 white metal copy of the kit parts. And since the kit was a Testors with all his pros and cons (so to say, the landing gear is rather on the 'con-side'), the metal legs are of the same detail degree.
@Thomas: you got it, my friend 🙂 And since I know you personally and know how you build, your comment is especially valuable for me.
