Of the one I did do, just to see if they would look like they could be used, I was just so unhappy with the amount of effort and correction I had to do to get them to look half decent. NOT HAPPY. !
I get the dectinct impression from the assembly instructions that these 'blocks' are meant to move freely, allowing the positioning of the rounds at the completion of the assembly, and I have done that with these parts, but they just look really shitty.
The assembly of the strap retainer is so complex. But once it is figured out how to get all the folds right (no detailed drawing of that), it's a joy to see it finished.
The enitial placement of the base rails is not all that simple, having to remove and rest these , leaving behind some bits I will need to fill and finish.
The markings on the bulkhead are required to be adhered to, but the correct angle they will need to sit right must have careful attention, otherwise, a poor result will result.
Dry fit test to see if the angles and position of the racks is vital.

Kerry COX These are just so unusable. The detail is non existent. Mis shapen in every way, and what I did build as an experiment was just crap.

Having decided to build this kit with all interior visible and NO cutaway, I opted for the Griffon PE kit to complete the whole internal view aspect, not being happy with the kit ammo stowage system lacking the critical detail I am wanting to have the model look even better. There are some 'issues' with the Griffon update kit, and it is the resin imitation wood retainer blocks, being of extremely poor quality that I will be overcoming by making my own wood blocks with balsa wood.
